To accommodate its rapid growth, Antykwariat i Księgarnia Tezeusz, the leader in the second-hand book market in Poland, has leased 470 sq m in Galileo – a modern and highly sustainable office building of GTC’s Korona complex in Krakow. The new location better addresses the needs of the firm’s team, previously based in Lubień near Krakow. AiK Tezeusz was advised by global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield for the choice of location and during the lease negotiations.
We are currently in a phase of intense development, transforming our antiquarian bookstore into a multi-format e-commerce platform powered by artificial intelligence. Today, we offer both paper books and digital formats such as e-books and audiobooks, but our plans for the product range and new markets reach far beyond that. At present, our team, including collaborators, numbers around 175 people, consisting of both an experienced management team and young, talented graduates in the fields of humanities, economics, and technology. The dynamic growth of the company and the increasing need to build our own competencies, especially in the areas of new technologies and IT, led us to the decision to relocate. We needed a place that would not only foster business development but also provide comfort to our employees, making them feel at home. This is where we make key decisions and implement our growth strategy,"
says Andrzej Misz, President of the Management Board at AiK Tezeusz.
All the phases of the search for new office space for AiK Tezeusz were challenging, particularly due to a tight schedule. The relocation to a large city and office complex marked a watershed for the company. We searched for an employee-friendly and well-connected location with multiple amenities. Galileo of the GTC Korona complex proved an ideal choice - it met our client’s requirements. AiK Tezeusz puts the employee experience first, so attention to every detail in the office was and will be a priority. I thank the leadership team of AiK Tezeusz for their trust and I am confident that the new location will be an inspiring place to progress forward,”
says Elżbieta Golik, Senior Negotiator, Cushman & Wakefield.
We are excited and delighted to welcome AiK Tezeusz as a tenant of our Korona Office Complex. It is a young and dynamic organisation that will certainly benefit from being based in our complex. As well as being built to a high standard, our office buildings offer a vast array of services and amenities such as gyms, yoga centres, cafés and restaurants. Such facilities are important in attracting employees to the office as employers seek to maximize in-office attendance. The complex also boasts excellent connections to other parts of Krakow and convenient access to nearby towns,”
says Agnieszka Kuehn, Senior Leasing Manager, GTC.
