The real estate sector has once again shown its big heart. A total of PLN 42,670 was raised during the fifth Charity City Game “Across Wola for Autism”, organized by global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield. All the funds will be donated to the SYNAPSIS Foundation to support the financing of diagnostics and therapies for children and young people with an autism spectrum disorder.
We are very thankful to Cushman & Wakefield, all the teams and guests who decided to support the SYNAPSIS Foundation. Financing the diagnostics and therapies for the youngest with an autism spectrum disorder is one of our strategic objectives and the funds raised during last Thursday’s event will allow us to provide specialist healthcare to more children. The involvement of the business community in our initiatives is also a major step toward raising awareness of autism spectrum conditions,
says Izabela Broczkowska, President of the Management Board of the SYNAPSIS Foundation.
The fifth edition of our event has shown that if we, as a sector, act together, we are able to do more. I would like to thank our partners, clients and everyone who made donations to support those that the SYNAPSIS Foundation looks after. Such events are also notable for non-financial reasons as they educate, promote diversity and break taboos. With this in mind, our team is launching activities focusing on the concept of neurodiversity to better support the employees of Cushman & Wakefield (and not only) - regardless of their needs and the challenges they face every day in the workplace,
comments Krzysztof Misiak, Head of Cushman & Wakefield Poland.
We are happy that once again we were part of this special event. It is an honour and privilege to be able to support the Synapsis Foundation in its mission. We believe that acting together we can do more and drive positive change in our community. The event was a real success thanks to the commitment of the organizer Cushman & Wakefield Poland, the support of the participants and a great atmosphere. Many thanks to everyone for coming together, inspiring ideas and supporting one another. We are confident that our paths will cross again and that we will have an opportunity to work together on other important and interesting initiatives,
says Agnieszka Pieczerak, Pro Urba Group.
