The 5th Charity City Game “Across Wola for Autism” (PL: “Po Woli dla Autyzmu”), organized by global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield, will take place on 11 May 2023. All the funds raised during this year’s event will be donated to the SYNAPSIS Foundation to support the financing of diagnostics and therapies for children and young people with an autism spectrum disorder. The winning team will be announced at an after party that will be held at Piano Bar, Norblin Factory. Registrations of participants close on 4 May.
The awareness of an autism spectrum disorder in Poland is growing every year. However, people with a spectrum of autistic conditions, including the youngest, are still facing difficulties with accessing quick diagnostics, appropriate therapy and support services. This is due, among other things, to the current situation of the Polish child psychiatry and the shortage of psychiatrists and psychologists despite the huge demand from young patients. We are therefore delighted to continue our partnership with Cushman & Wakefield, which supports us in what we do, and we warmly invite all companies to take part in this May’s event. Every donation brings an opportunity to begin an appropriate therapy for children and provide support to their families so that they are able to make a better start in life,
comments Joanna Grochowska, a psychologist and Vice President of the SYNAPSIS Foundation.
An important feature of the Polish property sector is cooperation and commitment to building close relationships. That is why we are inviting real estate industry representatives and our business partners to take part in Cushman & Wakefield’s Charity City Game. I am confident that the positive energy and the open hearts that our community has will work wonders, which we have repeatedly demonstrated during many aid campaigns. Much of today’s narrative is on promoting workplace diversity and initiatives behind the mysterious letter S in ESG. At Cushman & Wakefield, we believe in team diversity, the power of talents and respect for individual needs. We want to further spread these values and put them into practice. I look forward to seeing everyone on 11 May on the route of the City Game and later at the after party, to show our support for this important initiative to educate and facilitate access to therapies for people with an autism spectrum disorder,
says Krzysztof Misiak, Head of Cushman & Wakefield Poland.
