As part of another edition of the “Across the Wola District for Autism” charity city game organised by Cushman & Wakefield, real estate companies managed to raise PLN 82,700, more than twice as much as last year. The funds will go to the SYNAPSIS Foundation to support the diagnosis and therapy of children and young people on the autism spectrum.
Together with the Cushman & Wakefield team, we once again raised significant funds that will allow more children on the autism spectrum to receive specialised therapy. This annual support is extremely important for us and helps us advance our mission. We thank each participant of the game and all the companies for their contribution to raising a record-breaking amount this year. We appreciate not only the financial support but also the opportunity to raise public awareness of autism through this type of events,”
says Joanna Grochowska, Vice-President of the Management Board of the SYNAPSIS Foundation.
The sixth edition of our event is evidence that acting together we can do more. I thank all the partners, clients and participants for coming in droves and for your support. I am delighted that the real estate sector has once again shown its big heart and openness to neurodiversity. At Cushman & Wakefield, the issue of supporting diversity and inclusivity is an extremely important part of building our team’s identity. The annual cooperation with the SYNAPSIS Foundation aims - in addition to collecting funds to support its charges - to raise public awareness of autism and of overcoming challenges related to it,”
comments Krzysztof Misiak, Head of Cushman & Wakefield Poland.
