Outlet Lublin has signed up three new brands from the VRG Group: Bytom, Wólczanka and Vistula, which leased a total of nearly 430 sq m of retail floorspace. The outlet centre is being recommercialised to create a tailor-made retail offer for the inhabitants of the Lublin region. Global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield is responsible for space leasing, developing an optimal tenant-mix and property management for Outlet Lublin.
The three brands enjoy great recognition among Polish shoppers who value them for their high quality and timeless collections. Vistula, Bytom and Wólczanka will therefore add variety to Outlet Lublin’s offer, which is its strong advantage in the Lublin retail market. However, we continue to expand the tenant-mix of the outlet centre so that it better addresses the needs of the region’s inhabitants. We have observed that other outlet centres throughout Poland are also expanding their tenant portfolios to include premium brands too. In addition, some retailers who have decided to have a presence in outlet centres are increasingly choosing to refurbish or remodel their stores or to take additional space. This is testament to the enormous popularity of this retail format in the Polish market,

We have observed that the growth of the outlet centre market is in principle limited, with its share unlikely to account for more than 2-3% of the total retail stock in Poland. This suggests that we are therefore more likely to see existing outlet centres being extended to accommodate a growing number of brands seeking to enter them,
