The Stokrotka grocery chain has leased more than 6,000 sq m of warehouse and office space in building DC4 of Prologis Park Wrocław III. The retailer was advised during its search for the optimal location and lease negotiations by global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield.
The new warehouse location near Wrocław will support the rapid growth of our chain. In Prologis Park Wrocław III we leased far more space than in our previous warehouse providing logistics for our stores in this part of Poland. Prologis’ park has been tailor-made to meet the high requirements of the food sector and offers modern office space supporting the workplace experience of our team,
says Daria Raganowicz, PR and External Communication Specialist, Stokrotka.
Stokrotka’s transaction ideally highlights the pace of growth of the Lower Silesian industrial market. According to the latest data of Cushman & Wakefield, Lower Silesia is in a strong third place, behind Mazovia and Silesia, in terms of occupier activity with more than 560,000 sq m transacted in the year to date. In addition, with over 450,000 sq m of warehouse space under construction, this region is second in the country for development activity,
comments Katarzyna Misztal, Negotiator, Industrial & Logistics Agency Poland, Cushman & Wakefield.
We are pleased that our team has contributed to the growth of the local warehouse market by representing Stokrotka – a household name in Poland. We also thank our client for another opportunity to work together towards success,
says Kami Żach, Associate, Key Account Executive, Industrial & Logistics Agency, Cushman & Wakefield.
I am proud that Stokrotka will be able to continue on its successful path of growth under the roofs of Prologis. As a result of this deal, there is only one unit remaining available for lease in what is the largest speculative development in the history of Prologis in Poland. This is evidence that the concept of a park designed to ensure supply chain efficiency, sustainability and employee comfort is right. That’s exactly the mix that clients, not only retailers, uncompromisingly expect today,
adds Marcin Kruszewski, Leasing and Customer Experience Manager, Prologis.
