Neptun is one of the tallest and most prominent office buildings in Tricity. While it has built a strongmarket position over the past decade, both building technologies and the needs of modern officeusers have evolved rapidly. The ambition of the property owner – a company managed by CBREInvestment Management (CBRE IM) – is not only to keep pace with these developments, but also tostay ahead of the curve. The completed refurbishment is part of a broader development plan forNeptun, with further changes expected later in 2026.
The new lobby has become an elegant, bright and functional space that shapes the user experience and sets the building’s standard from the moment of entry. The refurbishment has markedly improved the quality of communal areas and adapted the building to current user expectations. Today, user comfort, the building’s long-term efficiency and environmental and operational sustainability are increasingly important. These factors played a key role in the project,”
says Karolina Wiśniewska, Senior Portfolio Manager, Asset Services EMEA, Cushman & Wakefield.
Unlike demolition and new development, modernisation can significantly reduce a project’s carbon footprint while ensuring standards aligned with modern work environments. However, a major challenge for the property manager is to carry out a retrofit and replace key systems while the building remains in use. Thanks to a meticulously planned schedule and close collaboration with Cushman & Wakefield’s Design & Build team, which was responsible for project delivery, the entire process was completed in line with the brief,”
